FAQs

How do I recieve a certificate of completion or recognization that I have completed a course?

At the end of each course is a course evaluation. This course evaluation must be completed in order to recieve a certificate of completion. The course evaluation is divided into two parts. The first part is a Post-Course Exam that ensures that you have covered all content material. The second part is a Course Survey, helping us create more effective courses in the future. You must receive an 85% or higher on the Post-Course Exam and complete the Course Survey for a certificate of completion.

I have a blog post that I would really like to be displayed on Microdiscoveries. Is that possible?

Of course it is! If you would like to share some of your recent research accomplishments, scientific editorials, or blog posts, click “Share Your Discoveries” and complete the form that is located on the page. Make sure to check the box that allows us to post the material you have sent us.

How are Microdiscoveries courses created?

Microdiscoveries courses take a significant amount of time to develop. It begins with an idea and then our team develops a course curriculum. From there, with the combination of our team’s knowledge in the field with additional research, course lectures, questions, and handouts are created. Most of our courses will also have an associated textbook that is listed in the sources page of each lecture.
